Katie Potter, from Dartington Service Design Lab, is leading the Kailo work in North Devon with Ediane which is a five year research and design initiative designed to understand and address the wider determinants of adolescent mental health.

They are in an exploration and discovery phase, trying to understand what’s happening already, looking at data and existing initiatives, speaking to young people and others in the community with the aim of understanding how we can improve mental health and wellbeing for young people. Crucially, we also want to understand what role Kailo could play in the communities; we want to make sure we are adding value and building on the positive assets and activities that are already happening.

After speaking with James Lander from OND, Kailo recognise the important roles that the community developers play in the One communities, and that it is important for them to work with you throughout Kailo. Katie and her team would be super grateful if they were able to find time to have a chat with you.
