We have put a process in place that enables a Community Developer or point of contact within the One Communities or parish to refer up to the OND System Support Co-ordinator an inability to fulfil a request for a volunteer within a timely manner.

The System Support Co-ordinator will seek to fulfil a gap with Good Sam volunteers who may not already be a local volunteer. If that proves unsuccessful, she will use the partner support database to meet the need. If all of the above prove unsuccessful, the request will be returned unfulfilled to the referring agency and a system support failure logged. This will be brought to the Covid-19 Ops Group who meet daily to consider how best to fill such a gap.
