Workways (DPT) offers support to people who as a consequence of their mental health are finding it difficult to find or stay in paid employment.
They specialise in the following areas:
- Job retention – helping people who are in paid employment and need support to retain or maintain their job. The Job Retention Team is able to support you if you live in Exeter, East or Mid Devon, or if you are an employee of Devon Partnership NHS Trust.
- Individual Placement and Support (IPS) service – our team help people who would like to find paid employment of any number of hours and who need some additional support to do so. The IPS team is able to support anyone who has a Care Coordinator working with Devon Partnership NHS Trust’s Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) or Specialist Teams for Early Psychosis (STEP).
Survey – July 2022
From Lynn Aggett, Workways Team Manager:
As part of a project to obtain an overview of Employment and Vocational support across Devon (including Torbay and Plymouth) for people who have a mental health diagnosis we are offering you and your service the opportunity to complete a survey to obtain further details of your service.
The outcome of the survey will aim to bring services together across the county and identify both gaps in provision and examples of good practice to ensure the people we support can be made aware of all opportunities available to them to assist in achieving employment/vocational aspirations.
Please click on the link below. The survey will close on 5/8/2022. If you receive the survey link from more than one person – please complete it just once.
If you are aware of any other organisations in your local area that we should be contacting please indicate on the survey and we will contact them.
